The Palmetto Banker is the award-winning official news publication of the South Carolina Bankers Association (SCBA).  Published quarterly, the Palmetto Banker is circulated in excess of  1600 copies.  The publication is mailed to all banks, savings banks, and savings and loans in South Carolina and all associate members of the Association.  The award-winning Palmetto Banker has a multi-page magazine format with a self-cover.  Four-color process is available.

General Rate Policy
All advertisement copy and illustrations are subject to the approval of the editor or publisher.  Insertion instruction must be supplied for EVERY advertisement.

Preferred Positions
Add 50% for requested inside-front or back cover positions.

Rate Change
Publisher reserves the right to revise rates. Rates reflected on this rate sheet are as of August 15, 2007.

Payment
New! Palmetto Banker accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Cards.

The editor of Palmetto Banker will contact all advertisers well in advance of each issue with reminders and to determine if an ad will be placed.   For your convenience, contact will be made on an issue-by-issue basis instead of a yearly contract basis.  It is the policy of Palmetto Banker not to have contractual agreements.  Billing for advertisements occurs within a week after a magazine issue is mailed. Agency Commission & Membership Cash Discounts
15% commission on gross price (space, color, bleed and special position) to advertising agencies if paid within 30 days of invoice date.
5% discount for SCBA members and associate members if paid within 30 days of invoice date.

Preferred Material: 
1st choice: E-mail PDF, fonts embedded, to the address below.
2nd choice: Data may be supplied via CD, Zip disk. Please provide all support files to include: fonts (including PS fonts), graphics, images and logos. Acceptable graphic formats: tiff and eps (cmyk or grayscale at 300 dpi). Please provide a final laser to match print. (Printing is via a Mac/Scitex system using Postscripted files generated primarily from Quark XPress. Final work is processed at a resolution of 2540 dpi and a frequency of 400 lpi.)
3rd choice - 4-color process negatives (right reading, emulsion side down), 150 line screen. Please provide a match print.

Paper:  80 lb. gloss enamel
We prefer furnished digital files (MAC format). However, if you wish to use our production services, Palmetto Banker will produce your ad.  You will be charged an hourly production rate, plus expenses for this service.  Any subsequent changes requested in copy will be charged to you.
